Student of the Year Awards at the House of Lords
Rosie joined Westminster Tutors to complete her A levels in English Literature, Mathematics and Economics, which she had been unable to complete the previous year. Although she continued to face challenges which affected her studies, she showed an impressive determination to succeed, spending many hours in her regular spot in the study room. Rosie’s UCAS application to study Psychology involved sophisticated research despite not studying the A level, and her exceptionally nuanced appreciation of language led to the rare feat of achieving 100% in one of her English Literature papers. Rosie obtained fantastic A level results and gained a much sought after place at Bath University to study Psychology with a Placement Year.
Intelligent, hard-working, kind and good humoured, Rosie is more than worthy of recognition as a CIFE student of the year: we congratulate her!
Indeed, so diligent is Rosie that she was unable to attend the awards ceremony herself, due to an intensive week of research participation at Bath which involved doing multiple studies a day and which is vital for students who want to secure a work placement which advances their career prospects.
Virginia Maguire, Senior Consultant at Westminster Tutors and Rosie’s mentor, therefore did the honours and proudly accepted Rosie’s award on her behalf.
