Exams Update

The government announced this week new measures that will be taken to support students sitting exams in the summer. In addition to the summer exam series being moved back by three weeks, the following changes will take place:

  • more generous grading will be used to keep in line with 2020 results
  • students will receive advance notice of some topic areas which will be covered in exams
  • exam aids, such as formula sheets, will be provided in some exams
  • additional exams will be available for students who miss any exams due to illness or self-isolation
